I said conversation; right below that TheNick487 commented that it was the systems fault and no one else’s. I agreed and stated that it just makes me mad that people are so quick to find fault with Obama that they neglect the facts; this was Everyones fault. He is no better or worse than any other president we have had. This is the last time I will respond to you, the fight you are looking for will not be found here. God bless unless youre an atheist, in that case have a nice day.
@RareHonesty For you to say that “Obama only gave in to off shore drilling because he knew that after the health care bill the Republicans would act like f*ckwads and hinder him for the rest of his presidency” is ridiculous. Obama approved the expansion of off-shore drilling because he actually believed it was safe. Obama approved it, not Palin. Just because the extreme far-left liberals
believe your dribble, doesn’t make it true.
@ternew77
I’m sorry but I don’t have time for you because you clearly have not read the whole conversation and you also seem incapable of being polite, Please troll somewhere else…
@RareHonesty That’s a lame attempt to deflect the blame. Obama and Biden were elected and are sitting in the White House, not Palin. Obama even made a nice speech, on tv” where he stated that he approved the expansion of off-shore drilling because it was so safe. If anyone is twisting and spinning the truth, you are. You need to change your user name to “BigBullshitter”.
ok commie; whatever
@nickeldoor5
Tons of people depend on the gulf for their livelihoods and now it’s ruined, not to mention what might happen to the employees of the oil company now that they have this to pay for. This is only going to compound the economic recession.
@nickeldoor5
Have YOU read the health bill, because if you have I would like a current copy because I can’t find one anywhere? I have not read the bill but it is not for a lack of trying, in any case this country NEEDS health care, out of all the countries that have instated national health care none have overturned it. And I hate to be cynical but a plane crash affects a much smaller pool of people, it only takes one spill to ruin thousands if not millions of lives and the environment.
@RareHonesty I fault the president for saying he was in on day one and that was not the case. He would have been beftter off saying nothing. When he tries to defend himself he brings more focus on him. I heard they are going to use hay and it looks so promising. Have you read the health bill?There are other countries drilling in the gulf. It is the first accident in how many years. Planes crash people don’t stop flying
@RareHonesty I have not heard anyone pointing the finger at demorats. I figure there will be plenty of blame to go around. I would like to know who exempted BP from an environmental study. Why was the Oil not set on fire at the very beginning once everyone was rescued. That has being a standing order any time there was a big spill. Most of the oil could have been burned off.
Great video
BP doesn’t seem in a hurry to clean up – probably file – why not let other companies come in and drill for oil in that 50 mile radius and run it dry – and take away the $ from BP – competition might get them stirred to clean it up – rather have the oil in cars than in an ocean! This is a true disaster – everyone knows BP has no real answer as to if this will fix and the long term consequences. Even if they box it – the oil is going to be on top of the ocean bed floor – there would be seepage!
Stop sounding like a whiner without getting yr facts straight, its easy to seel something like this when emotions are high, let me lay it out for you :
1. Oil / Gas operations ARE inherently hazardous.
2. BP, Exxon, Chevron etc have the HIGHEST safety standards. [ i know this first hand, unlike whiners, ive actually been thru oil major inspections, trust me, they leave nothing untruned.]

Forget if its the republican or democrats fault. It’s the u.s. government, they should have regulated the use of an emergency shut off valve, like every other country has by law, until we use alternative sources we need oil, It should just be done more safely and have a much stricter eye on what’s going on.
It sure paid off to deregulate. Thank a republican today. Be sure to thank them for millions of beings that have been killed, fisherman out of work and people out of food, tourist economy dead for decades to come, and people now puking their guts out from Florida to Mexico from carcinogens that will kill them inside 5 years. Thank Haliburton while you’re at it, for failing to install a simple “shut off” switch at the oil rig. Go on out there and thank an incompetent imbecile today.
@RareHonesty There is no diff between democrats and republicans. The two are just here to let you think you have a choice. In reality, its all the same people behind your two colors.
But if we make trouble for the rich they will move out of America and won’t hire us. Don’t fuck this up for the rich.
This guy feels comfortable talking about shit he knows nothing about. He is taking these executives words out of context. Ive been in the oil business for 20+ years, I can personally tell you that the offshore participants without exception go above and beyond any regulations set forth by any government. All OSHA,EPA, and any other regulatory bodies rules are followed to the letter with no expense spared. Ive seen guys get fired for not wearing safety glasses in an area were they weren’t needed
imagine how many helpless animals are already dead thanx to these people,
it is a mistake? more like..the mass murdering of nature.
WTF!!!
@TheNick487 *but his team uses racism
@TheNick487 If it was hijacked then DON’T DEFEND IT… It obviously doesn’t represent your values does it? Nobody in the tea party is actively speaking out against the bigotry and ignorance within it. Barack passed the stimulus bill, lowered taxes, and pushed for (weak) healthcare reform. Each party is infected with corporatists, the Republican party more than the Democrats. I like Ron Paul’s ideas his team uses racism and xenophobia to gather votes and he doesn’t speak out on it so FUCK HIM.
@rfrantzt The tea party was hijacked and is misrepresented, The only people who actually believe we should end wars, have a transparent sound monetary system, actually repeal all of Bush’s policies are the Ron paul Repubs. Obama hasnt rolled back any of Bush’s policies in fact continued them, and just a few months ago didn’t he renig on his drilling moratorium? Dems control the whole govt. now. so why?
This show is recorded and produced in this guys basement! Its “BIG TIME” baby!
@scrantme What history has shown is more like the State covering the asses of incompetent companies and preventing them to fail at taxpayers’ expense. BP didn’t get that big by not caring about their rigs blowing up. That rig is worth 600-700 millions today: we’re talking major bacon. Face it, nobody wanted this to happen, even the most capitalist of all the capitalists.
